ONGC backed sea survival training centre, inaugurated by PM Modi on February 5th, 2024. The facility is now open for bookings.
16 per classroom - 3 classrooms
This includes passengers and pilots
Built by Mumbai based Survival Systems India, this one of a kind and highly advanced training facility has one of the most advanced Survival Training Simulation Theatres to simulate the most realistic crash and escape simulation from helicopter at sea in various situations such as heavy sea, state, smoke, deluge, day and night.
The HUET is a modular egress training simulator designed to train aircrew and passengers in escaping from a sinking helicopter. The simulator can be quickly reconfigured by use of exterior panels which replicate the actual escape exits found on specific helicopters such as AW139, Bell 412 and Dauphin N3. The Rescue Hoist Trainer (RHT) is designed to train passengers in rescue procedures and techniques while being rescued by a helicopter.
